A note on giftsYour presence & thoughtfulness means the world to us—near or far. For those of you who are able to make our wedding, that truly is the biggest gift - we are so grateful, and do not ask for anything more than that. However, we have been receiving some requests about a wedding registry. Whilst we truly appreciate the thought behind physical gifts, we unfortunately won’t be able to transport them home. Instead, if you’d like to contribute to our honeymoon in Morocco, we’ve set up a way to do so as either the link below, or if you'd prefer to transfer to either Australian or Swedish bank accounts you can contact Denise Moore or Marie Collin directly and they can share this information. www.hitchd.com/katieandnils There will also be somewhere to leave us a card, if you wish! Sending all of our love. Xxx

How should I get around once we arrive? We recommend that you rent a car for the most flexibility and to be able to see the beautiful region! It's inexpensive and a game changer! Tuscany is not well connected with buses, trains or even taxis. For our events, we will organise transportation from your accommodation to Villa di Corliano. More details later. If you're staying at Villa Alta there is a shuttle bus (8pax) which can be used by guests only. However, you need to pre-arrange that directly with Rafaella and Monica. The shuttle can pick you up at the airport, take you to Lucca / Pisa / Winery /Beach etc. Please arrange all details in advance if possible. Contact: booking@villaalta.it or to Rafaella on Whatsapp +39 348 590 1868. Contacts: Radio Taxi: + 39 050-541600 - taxi company servicing the region. https://www.cotapi.it/en/ All of these guys need to be contacted in advance and booked for airport pick ups or day trips / quick trips. Do you have tips for things do / where to eat?Yes!! Lucca Town is really beautiful - we highly recommend visiting! There are so many food options - but Marilu and Laura have given us their favourites: Trattoria Da Giulio Via delle Conce, 45, 55100 Lucca LU It's in the city centre and has a nice outdoor area. Food is traditional and very good! Trattoria da Gigi Piazza del Carmine, 55100 Lucca LU Small trattoria, typical food and traditional. You need to book well in advance. Their fresh pasta is delicious! Ristorante La Cecca Via dei Coselli, Loc. Coselli, 55, 55012 Capannori LU, Italy Beautiful outdoor seating area - authentic, good food! Ristorante all'Olivo Via Olivo, 2, 55100 Lucca LU For a more refined choice, the food is sophisticated rather than rustic. The Anfiteatro Square is stunning and filled with restaurants and bars, but unfortunately, most of them are quite touristy. My suggestion is to visit one of the wine bars and enjoy an aperitivo before dinner or a drink after, to take in the beauty of the square. Locanda Sant'Agata: We have also been told that the restaurant at Locanda Sant'Agata is one of the best in the whole region - so it's definitely something to consider! Other tips that we discovered in Lucca: Baralla - Restaurant with nice outdoor street seating Dante & Geentucca - relaxed pizzeria Tuccori Mariano & C. Snc - An amazing deli where you can make your own focaccia / salad etc. Caffe Casali - For a coffee / aperativo - good for people watching! Gelateria Veneta Bar Gelateria Salsedo di Vallari & Tognocchi - San Giuliano Terme Things To Do: Visit Lucca (10 - 15 min drive) Go to the famous thermal spa at Bagni Di Pisa hotel. All natural thermals for healing. You can book online. We haven't visited but the town of Montecatini Terme looks really beautiful! It's also famous for thermal spas. There is a mini train that takes you to a tiny hilltop village called Montecatini Alto. Castiglioncello is a beach town about an hour away. We have heard about the restaurant La Baracchina. Florence is under an hour drive or train from Pisa. Visit Pisa (10 - 15 min drive) There is also a local tour operator who can help to organise bike tours, hikes/trails and anything else! https://montepisano.travel/en/ Wineries: You might need to book or call in advance if you want a tour or lunch. Colle Verde (30 min drive) Fattoria Sardi (20 min drive) Fattoria del Teso (35 min drive) Antinori Winery - super famous and stunning (over an hour drive) Visit Getting Around: Renting a car is the easiest if you can! If you're staying at Villa Alta - they have a shuttle bus (pax 8). You will need to book in advance with Rafaella and Monica. Do so here: booking@villaatla.it Various taxi drivers - we have listed them on the contact page.

Will we be indoors or outdoors? Our plan for both events is for them to be outdoors, if weather permits. Please plan to bring a jacket as it's sure to get chilly in the evening. We will also have space where you can leave your bags, shoes or other items.
-
Can we rent bikes?Yes! This company can organise this for you. I believe the bikes can be brought to your hotel and you can go from there. (For sure the case at Locanda Sant'Agata)
-
Can I get a taxi from Pisa airport to San Giuliano Terme?Yes, you will be able to find a taxi at the airport. However, if you arrive very early or very late, it's best to organise a pre-arranged car. Below are two taxi drivers that you can book with via Whatsapp. Francesco : +393476813281 Mario: +393398687694 There's also this link with more info on local taxis https://www.cotapi.it/en/

Where should I stay?We have recommended hotels on the page "Accommodation". We suggest these hotels because they are close to the Villa di Corliano and we want to be able to transport you to and from the villa quickly and easily.
-
Can you recommend any hairdressers? We can't personally recommend any, but there is a local hairdresser across from the road from Borgo Studiati called Di Alderigi Laura. She charges 25 EUR for wash and blow dry. The only way to book is by calling - so please email Marilu (wedding planner) who can book you in! marilu@lauraferrariweddings.com Otherwise Marilu recommends Sereni. https://sereni.net/ It’s located in Pisa, but 15 mins from the venue. They are probably the best in town. Marilu can help with booking if you need.
-
What's the dress code on the Welcome Dinner? The dress code is summer cocktail. We are planning on being outside - so please take a jacket if you tend to get cold.
-
Can I bring a date?Unfortunately not, due to capacity limitations. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!
